What is Music Really?
I have often wondered what music really is. Of course we all know the one about how music is interrupted silence…but so is noise. We know music has a powerful effect on the brain and causes strong emotions. Music makes people feel happy, sad, proud and angry. Music is a way of communicating that has been with us as long as we've been human.
I came upon this podcast that does a nice job of explaining this phenomenon. I recommend giving it a listen, although it might shake you up a little:
